Meet the Founder

MacDevitt Lightworks is a New York–based lighting design and creative direction company founded by Erin MacDevitt, creating visual experiences for live entertainment, touring, broadcast, and podcasts.

Erin’s work has taken her from studios and intimate live shows to major stages around the world. Her lighting design credits include Mel Robbins’ Let Them Tour across the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand, Morbid Podcast Live at Radio City Music Hall, My Favorite Murder Live. Other podcast productions include the Unwell Tour with Alex Cooper and a live taping of Sam Harris at the Beacon Theater. Other credits with performances featuring artists and talent including Dave Chappelle, Jordin Sparks, and George Benson.

Her experience also spans broadcast, fashion, experiential, and large-scale event production. Selected programming credits include Tribute in Light: Live from Lower Manhattan, NFL Today, NFL Slime time, Good Morning America, Tamron Hall, Phish’s Mondegreen Festival, Thom Browne, Bose x Matte, Uber, TIME, City Harvest, and the Derek Jeter Turn 2 Foundation.

This past summer she was one of the onsite lighting designers for Lincoln Center’s, Summer in the City , at Josie Roberston’s Plaza, featuring live performances from artists all around the globe.

With a background in both lighting design and programming, Erin combines creative vision with the technical experience to bring an idea from its earliest concept through the final show..
