Meet the Founder

Erin MacDevitt is a versatile lighting designer and console programmer, and the founder of MacDevitt Lightworks, specializing in expressive lighting for concerts, theatrical productions, and broadcast events. Based in New York City, having a storytelling-driven approach, she creates bold, immersive visual environments that elevate performance and space.

Design & Direction Highlights:

  • Lead lighting director for tours including the Call Her Daddy tour and Mel Robbins’ Let Them tour.

  • Concert design credits include Skizzy Mars at Brooklyn Mirage, Jordin Sparks at Gramercy Theatre, and Automatic at Music Hall of Williamsburg.

  • Theater and dance work includes Hit Your Mark, Die Beautiful at The New Ohio, Lost Girl at Hangar Theatre, and Next to Normal at UMass Amherst.

  • Lighting director for the international dance ensemble Ché Malambo.

Programmer Highlights:

  • Site lighting programmer for Phish’s Mondegreen Festival.

  • Lighting programmer for performances like Thom Browne showcases and Caroline Polacheck at Saks Fifth Avenue during New York Fashion Week.

  • Programmer for Tamron Hall, CBS Sports, and a range live corporate event broadcasts.

  • Lighting consoles they specialize in are Grandma, Eos and Hog family consoles. Contributing programmer for fast-paced, multi-camera environments across television and fashion.

Broadcast & Technical Experience:

  • Crew member on studio productions for Food Network including Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay,

  • Lighting team member at NYC venues Sony Hall and Gramercy Theatre.
